KINO AFRIKA – is a forum for the promotion of African and African Cinema and filmmakers.

CAK (The African Cultural Institute) has arranged several African film forums since 1980, but it was during the Norwegian National Year of the Cultural Diversity in 2008 that this was established as permanent annual festival. This year’s Kino Afrika will be dedicated to African female directors.

KINO AFRIKA – et forum til fremme av afrikansk og den afrikanske diaporas film og filmskapere.
CAK – Afrikansk Kulturinstitutt har arrangert flere afrikanske filmfora siden 1980, men det var først i regjeringens Mangfoldsåret i 2008 at dette ble etablert som et fast årlig tiltak. Årets Kino Afrika vil bli viet til afrikanske kvinnelige filmregissører.
